On March 27th, a free screening (webinar) of the Oscar-nominated short film Death By Numbers will be shared, along with an interactive discussion with the film’s creator, Sam Fuentes and her teacher, Ivy Schamis. Fuentes and Schamis are school shooting survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, FL.

This one-hour session addresses the devastating impact of gun violence on children, teens, and schools in the U.S. Death By Numbers is a documentary short that highlights the trauma experienced by those affected.

The session concludes with an interactive discussion on advocacy, empowering teachers and school staff to push for meaningful change and a safer future.
