There’s still time to register for the Athletes As Leaders and Team Up Washington youth mentorship training, beginning tomorrow, December 2nd at 12:00pm. We invite you to join Elise Morris—Executive Director of CHAMP The Culture, Director of Community Outreach and Expansion for TeamUp Washington, and professional athlete—and Ward Urion, Senior Prevention Strategist with the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WSCADV). Together, they will share the mentorship curriculum, and the importance and impact of being a positive mentor for youth in athletics.

This training is also a great opportunity for any school staff interested in supporting a tier-2 mentorship program in middle or high schools.

The event is FREE, held on Zoom, and includes a gifted lunch on day two as a gesture of gratitude and community.

For anyone who missed the live introduction on 11/20, a recording of the full Zoom session is available—running about an hour and filled with valuable takeaways. An overview of the training sessions (December 2nd and 4th) and a Q&A begins around the 32-minute mark.
