Safe Schools Series: Together We Can Prevent Sexual Violence

We’ve updated some of the training dates and times, and we’re also offering reduced pricing on many sessions—because cost should never be a barrier to safety!

Level 1 Threat Assessment Training in Whatcom County

With great thanks to our partners in Lynden School District, we are providing a Level 1 Threat Assessment training opportunity closer to home for our Whatcom County regional partners. February 19th, 8-12pm [pdEnroller link here]. Note: All regional schools are welcome – not just Whatcom county!

CARE: Suicide Prevention in Washington Schools

Attention all ESA Certificate holders! Are you scrambling to fulfill your suicide prevention training requirement? Join us January 14th for this PESB-approved training. We’ll help you ensure you’re in compliance, and refreshed and ready to provide the best and most critical care to your students.

Interrupting Hate Speech: A School Safety Series & Cohort

This six-month professional learning series designed for school leaders, educators, and district teams to develop consistent, legally sound, and culturally responsive approaches that address hate speech, repair harm, and foster belonging across K–12 schools. Participants will learn alongside and engage with experts in education, civil rights law, cultural awareness, and community-building.

Comprehensive Reunification Preparedness Bootcamp

Do you find the idea of running a reunification drill in your district a daunting task? Don’t know where to even begin? Join us at the NWESD on Friday, January 30 for scenario-based tabletop exercises, targeted skill-building modules, and reunification drill training and practice. This training will equip you with the information, tools, and motivation you need to lead your district through one of the most important aspects of safety preparedness.

Finally, whether you’re planning for spring in-service days, summer learning, or targeted team training, our team is happy to work with you to provide staff trainings that are practical, relevant, and grounded in best practices.
