We are sorry to share that there will be no Thrive on Thursday* Zoom session this month, but we’re looking ahead with excitement to what’s coming next.
Thrive on Thursday will resume on February 19 at 11:00 a.m., and this session will feature a special guest and a preview of an important upcoming training opportunity.
We’re pleased to welcome Detective Katie Wilson of the Sedro-Woolley Police Department, who will also serve as a primary presenter for our February 27 training, Safe Schools in Action: Managing Allegations with Care and Compliance. Detective Wilson brings frontline law enforcement expertise and a strong commitment to helping educators respond to student disclosures of sexual assault with confidence, care, and legal integrity.
The February 27 session will dive deeper, strengthening educator understanding of Title IX responsibilities, student support, safety management, and reporting procedures, while emphasizing the importance of protecting the integrity of law enforcement investigations. The training will also include Jenn Lockwood (Brigid Collins) and a discussion of the Sexual Incident Response System (SIRS) as a framework for assessing and managing sexually problematic behaviors in school settings.
We encourage you to join us twice:
- February 19 at 11:00 a.m. for Thrive on Thursday and an introduction to Detective Wilson’s work and expertise
- February 27 for the full, comprehensive training experience
