Thrive on Thursday returns tomorrow, February 19 at 11:00 a.m., and you won’t want to miss this one.
We’re excited to welcome Detective Katie Wilson of the Sedro-Woolley Police Department and Jenn Lockwood of Brigid Collins Family Support Center, who will provide a preview of next week’s (February 27) training, Safe Schools in Action: Managing Allegations with Care and Compliance.
Detective Wilson and Jenn Lockwood bring valuable frontline experience and will share insight on how educators can respond to student disclosures of sexual assault with confidence, compassion, and legal integrity. Tomorrow’s session will offer a brief look at the deeper learning ahead on February 27, including an examination of the Multidisciplinary Team’s services for youth who are impacted by sexual violence, supporting students effectively, managing safety, navigating reporting procedures, and protecting the integrity of law enforcement investigations.
If your work includes ensuring thoughtful, legal, and compassionate responses to sensitive situations, this is a conversation worth your time. We hope you’ll join us tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.!
