Join us TODAY, Thursday, June 5, for the last THRIVE ON THURSDAY of the 2024-25 school year. Since February, the School Safety and Wellness Center has hosted a one-hour opportunity for educators, staff, and safety partners to join us for news and updates about some of the most pressing school safety & wellness topics.

We thank everyone who has joined us for one – or more – sessions, and we plan to continue them in the fall. If you have not yet joined us, now is your chance!

When: TODAY, June 5th (10:00 – 11:00 am)

Where: Zoom. A link is provided in the flier below.

This week’s agenda will be lead by: Ashia Smock, Behavioral Health Navigator, and supported by Mike Luvera, Threat Assessment Coordinator, and Erum Mohiuddin, School Safety Coordinator.

Topic: School Safety and Wellness Consultations

School leaders are often unsure of the best path to take with challenging – or sometimes threatening- student behaviors. Questions arise such as: Does this require a threat assessment? A safety plan? Referral to a community resource or law enforcement? We’ve tried everything – what else is available?

The SSWC can help – and Ashia, Mike, and Erum will describe how.

See you on SOON!
