The NWESD School Safety and Wellness Center (SSWC) is proud to partner with Skagit Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services (DVSAS) and the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WSCADV) to bring a series of professional development opportunities focused on Sexual Violence Prevention Policies and Practices in Schools.

Starting October 28th, 2025, through March 2026, these Zoom sessions are designed to provide educators and safety managers with the tools, knowledge, and strategies they need to create safer, more supportive school environments. Sessions are open to all educators, administrators, counselors, and school safety professionals. Don’t miss this chance to enhance your skills and make a meaningful impact in your school community.

As part of this series, athletic leaders and coaches are invited to become mentors in the Team Up Washington and Athletes As Leaders programs. These programs aim to empower athletes to foster a culture of respect and leadership both on and off the field.

To learn more and get involved, join us for an information session on November 20th, 2025 where we’ll dive deeper into these exciting initiatives.

We look forward to your participation in this important work to support safety and wellness in our schools!
